Sutro Elementary School

San Francisco Unified School District Modernization Program, CA
Preconstruction services for many schools modernized and upgraded through Proposition A funds. Schools upgraded to health, safety, instructional and accessibility standards; replaced portable trailers with permanent classrooms; upgraded bathrooms, science laboratories, and all mechanical and electrical systems; and renovated classrooms. Provided estimates for Sutro Elementary, Sunset Elementary, John McLaren Child Development Center, Fairmount Elementary, Guadalupe Elementary, Burl Toler and Alamo Elementary.


ER Taylor Elementary 
   School

ER Taylor Elementary School, San Francisco, CA
Construction cost estimating services for the modernization of ER Taylor Elementary School that includes making the facility ADA compliant. Working with VBN Architects on this project for the San Francisco Unified School District, the firm provided a series of estimates during the design process.


Yick Wo

SFUSD Yick Wo Elementary School, San Francisco, CA
General modernization of the entire campus including an existing 27,072 square feet educational building and reconstruction including Disabled Access, Fire/Life-Safety and Health Safety upgrades, including but not limited exterior Exit Balcony structure with two stairs, Multi-Purpose Room addition, site work, Architect; Kendall Young Associate, San Francisco.



SFUSD Alamo Elementary School – 250 23rd Avenue. San Francisco, CA
Project was a modernization of the campus through 2006 Proposition A funds. Both the site and the buildings were upgraded to health, safety, instructional, and accessibility standards. Bathrooms were fully upgraded; electrical and mechanical systems upgraded; classrooms renovated. KYA Architects, Kendall Young. $3.8 million


Guadalupe 
   Elementaruy School

SFUSD Guadalupe Elementary School – 859 Prague Street. San Francisco, CA
Project was a modernization of the campus through 2006 Proposition A funds. Both the site and the buildings were upgraded to health, safety, instructional, and accessibility standards. Bathrooms were fully upgraded; electrical and mechanical systems upgraded; classrooms renovated. KYA Architects $6.9 million.



SFUSD Gateway/KIPP Charter School – 1430 Scott Street, San Francisco, CA
Project was a modernization of the campus through 2006 Proposition A funds. Both the site and the buildings were upgraded to health, safety, instructional, and accessibility standards. Bathrooms were fully upgraded; electrical and mechanical systems upgraded; classrooms renovated. Levy Design Partners. $4.4 million.


Alice Fong Yu 
   Alternative School

SFUSD Alice Fong YU Middle School, San Francisco, CA
Renovation and expanded an existing, historically significant elementary school with addition of a new 15,000 Square Ft. middle school complex to create the first Chinese language immersion school in the country. The project included three new building and renovating the existing school building. Project value $4 million.





Sunset Elementary 
   School

SFUSD Sunset Elementary School, San Francisco, CA
This new bungalow design showcased three modular classrooms in the same space. Within the interior, we incorporated clerestory windows for day lighting on all four sides of each room and ample cross-ventilation.


Children’s Day School, San Francisco, CA
Preconstruction services for a new $5.2 million, 2–story classroom building with basement and an attached one–story multipurpose building, a total of 20,000 square feet.

San Mateo–Foster City Unified School District Modernization Program, CA
Provided Constructibility assessments, Conceptual, Design Development, and Construction estimates for various DSA projects. ($15 – 20 Million Budgets). Projects included Foster City Elementary, Fiesta International Elementary and College Park Elementary.

Pal Redwood City


PAL (Police Activities League), Redwood City, CA

15,000 GSF, 2 story, steel frame, concrete slab on grade, Stucco Exterior building located at 2596 Bay Street for Redwood City Police Department, the project was designed by EDS in Redwood City. PAL is a non-profit community based organization providing intervention, prevention, and alternative programs to at-risk and economically challenged youth.

San Mateo–Foster City Unified School District, College Park Elementary School, San Mateo CA
Complete modernization of existing site and buildings to health, safety, instructional, and accessibility standards; a new building shell for Administration was constructed, and three new pre-engineered buildings installed. $19 million



Fiesta Gardens Elementary

San Mateo–Foster City Unified School District, Fiesta Gardens Elementary School, San Mateo CA
Renovation. Project included two new buildings, an outdoor stage, a lunch shelter, and major renovation of the grounds, utilities, and landscaping. $14 Million.


La Honda–Pescadero Unified School District, Pescadero, CA, Master Plan
Cost estimating services for the master planning study for the District’s proposed new schools: elementary, middle and high school facilities, with a construction cost estimate of $35 million.

Pescadero Elementary

La Honda–Pescadero Unified School District, Pescadero Elementary School
Cost estimating services to determine the more cost effective of two scenarios that encompassed a complex renovation or new construction to replace school buildings damaged by flooding. Building a new 15,668 square foot facility at an estimated $4.2 million was the preferred option.


Rancho Romero 
    Elementary

Rancho Romero Elementary, Alamo, CA
Constructibility review for this project that replaced portables with four permanent classrooms including a computer classroom. The project replaced the existing school roof with a metal roof, replaced covered walkways, and provided adequate staff support areas.




San Ramon Valley High School Classroom Bldg

San Ramon Valley High School
This new classroom building project allowed the District to provide students and staff with much needed state-of-the-art facilities that include 21st century classrooms. This new building replaced existing outdated buildings. $46,000,000.


Bollinger 
    Canyon Elementary School
San Ramon Valley Unified School District, Bollinger Canyon Elementary, San Ramon, CA
Constructibility review for three new facilities on the campus: the 5,307 square foot administration building, 3,351 square foot kindergarten building, and 4,744 square foot library.



Pine Valley Middle 
   School
San Ramon Valley Unified School District, Pine Valley Middle School, San Ramon, CA
Constructibility reviews at 50% and 100% construction documents and a cost estimate for a $22.5 million modernization of this 74,000 square foot facility encompassing two existing buildings, a new library facility and covered walkways.




Vista Grande Elementary
San Ramon Valley Unified School District, Vista Grande Elementary School, San Ramon, CA
Constructibility review for a 5–building expansion and modernization. The project consists of the renovation of four existing classroom buildings, the replacement of six portables with a new classroom building and the addition of a 7,000 square foot new multi–purpose building with a stage/classroom, kitchen, storage, and support facilities. This building and entry will serve as a new campus gateway. Construction of the project was phased to minimize disruption to the campus.

Constructibility review for three new facilities on the campus: a 5,307 square foot administration building, 4,550 square foot kindergarten building, and 4,744 square foot library.





Diablo Vista MIddle 
   School

San Ramon Unified School District, Diablo Vista Middle School, Danville, CA
Cost estimating services for the new 15,000 square foot, $5 million gymnasium that includes basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, retractable bleachers, restroom and locker room facilities.



John Baldwin 
   Elementary School

San Ramon Unified School District, John Baldwin Elementary, Danville, CA
Constructibility review for three new facilities on the campus: the 5,307 square foot administration building, 3,351 square foot kindergarten, and 4,744 square foot library.


Soquel Union Elementary School District, Capitola Elementary, Capitola, CA
Construction cost estimating services for modernization project. The scope of work included modernizing the existing classrooms and adding new classrooms, modernizing and expanding the existing multi–purpose room, repaving play areas, upgrading utilities, and performing associated site work.

California High School

California High School, San Ramon, CA
Constructibility review for the $14 million Phase III program at California High School that includes a new 12,210 square foot gymnasium and the renovation and modernization of the existing theater.





Monte Vista High School

Monte Vista High School, Danville, CA
Constructibility review for this Measure A project which includes a new 3–story classroom building with 18 standard classrooms, culinary arts and science laboratories; addition to the Commons building to provide adequate indoor dining area for the campus; and a new career technology building.
