HIGHWAY, RAIL & BRIDGE
Better Market Street

The project will construct roadway improvements on Market Street between 6th and 8th Streets in Downtown San Francisco. Improvements include roadway resurfacing, streetcar track replacement, replacement and upgrade of traffic signals, and a New F-Line streetcar turnaround loop at McAllister and Charles J Brenham Streets. The BUILD project is part of a broader reconstruction of 2.2 miles of Market Street that will include non-BUILD funded improvements such as new water and sewer lines, broadband conduit installation, ADA-accessible curb ramps and streetcar access ramps, and landscaping and streetscape improvements. $80.7 million.
Castro Valley BART Station

Concrete structures, on-grade parking and all related work for BART including earthworks, site utilities, site concrete, asphalt and pavement and landscape and irrigation.
Colma BART Parking Structure and Bridges
Colma, CA
New 1,400 car, 5–level parking structure above 15 BART train storage tracks. The $34.6 million project includes the 480,000 sf parking garage, two vehicle bridges and two pedestrian bridge connections to the station.
Concord BART Station Parking Structure

Construction of 900+ car parking structure on a Design-Build basis. Included site development, site utilities, sidewalks, landscaping, and structures within site boundaries.
El Cerrito Del Norte BART Station Improvements
El Cerrito, CA
The base scope of work includes expanding the paid area, upgrade the existing paid area, relocate and construct a new station agent booth (bullet-proof), new staff break room/bathroom, relocate bike racks/bike lockers, construct two new elevators, new public bathrooms, upgrading station lighting, new ceiling and flooring inside the expanding and existing paid area, new seating area/new wind screens outside the paid area, improve wayfinding (inside & out of the station) and new public art. Optional station work includes relocating the passenger drop off, new ceiling and flooring outside the paid area, new bus shelters, enhance the Ohlone Greenway/ bicycle path/ hardscaping and site lighting, and storm drain improvements. Optional work will also include procuring AFE equipment for other stations. Approx. $33.9 million.

San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge Maintenance Complex Reconstruction
Oakland, CA
Performed value analysis of new structures around existing toll plaza by evaluating the estimates, value engineering and implementation of LEED pointing system to achieve a minimum of Silver rating. Scope includes Hazmat, underground utilities, tow service building, bridge maintenance building, electrical/ sub shop building, wash rack, historic IERBYS building, paint maintenance building, demolition of existing tow/ electrical building, training center/ field office building, maintenance equipment building, fence/signage/striping, and landscaping.
San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge Superstructure Expansion

San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge Tow Services Building & Vehicle Fueling Station

New tow services building & vehicle fueling station includes offices, locker rooms, restrooms, equipment bays, and storage areas. Project is located in the median between east and west bound Route 80 near the Bay Bridge touchdown in Oakland.

San Jose Mineta International Airport Terminal Area Improvement Program
San Jose, CA
Provided cost estimating services for the MEP packages for Terminals A and B for the improvement program being implemented as a Design–Build contract. The expansion of the existing Terminal A complex includes 20,000 sf of additions for new passenger check–in lobbies, concessions and hold rooms, and renovation of 45,000 sf of existing space including expanded and centralized passenger security screening and upgraded baggage handling system with inline explosive detection. Terminal B encompasses 160,000 sf of new construction to house a passenger check–in lobby, baggage claim area, passenger security screening, concourse areas including two additional gates and concessions and a new baggage handling system with inline explosive detection. Also included is a new quarter–mile long north concourse facility exterior facade for Caltrans.
SFO Boarding Area A

Construction management for the $130 Million Boarding Area A Complex. This facility, one of two concourses serving the new international terminal, consists of 350,000 sf of space with 12 gates. Over 2 million sf of phased apron paving was included in the contract.
SFO Boarding Area B

Provided architectural design and preconstruction services to Austin Webcor JV in connection with a partial infill scope of work consisting of break rooms and bathrooms on the apron level of Boarding Area B. These areas specifically include common restrooms (four women’s and four men’s restrooms), a common breakroom, and a custodial breakroom.
SFO Boarding Area E
San Francisco International Airport
Provided electrical cost estimating services. A stylish and sophisticated state-of-the-art facility that offers 10 gates for United Airlines, this $138 million renovation of Boarding Area E was part of a capital program to renovate the 68,800 sf Boarding Area E and the 150,000 sf eastern concourse connecting to Boarding Area F. The new facility accommodates more than 50 arrivals and 50 departures each day.
